Grass Fed Beef

I just picked up an awesome pamphlet from AmericanGrassFedBeef, I wanted to share a little with you.

Health benefits of grass fed beef:
  • source of high quality protein
  • iron
  • zinc
  • seleium
  • phophorous
  • B-complex vitamins
  • lower in fat and calories, about the same as skinless chicken breast
  • higher in Omega-3's
  • high in conjugated linoleic acis (CLA) 
  • higher in vitamin E
  • higher in carotenoids
  • millions of times lower risk of E.coli and no rish of Mad Cow disease
Sounds good to me!
